Brownville Historical Society's annual fund raising golf outing is held at the Rock Port Country Club in Rock Port, Missouri. It helps support building improvements for the Captain Bailey House Museum for the Brownville Historical Society.

Brownville Christmas Tour of Lights Dec. 6th

The Brownville Christmas Tour of Lights will be happening December 6th from 5:00-8:00pm. The tour features a continuous trolley ride from one end of Brownville to the other with delightful stops along the way.

Highlights include the picturesque River Inn Resort, the Brownville Railroad Depot & Museum, the Brownville Concert Hall with live Christmas music by pianist David Norris, the historic Didier Log Cabin offering hot apple cider, the Wheelhouse Museum, the Rose Cottage, the Flatwater Folk Art Museum displaying a special collection of Christmas Folk Art and Whiskey Run Creek Winery providing a wide selection of Christmas “cheer.”

Tickets can be purchased from the Brownville Historical Society at the Town Hall for $5.00 per person. Also at the Town Hall, they are hosting a Bake Sale from 4:00-8:00pm and a Soup Supper from 5:00-7:30pm with Chili, Chicken Noodle Soup, drinks and desserts for a free will donation. Get your Christmas shopping done early. Many shops will be open including Gallery 119, the Ice Cream Shop offering Christmas hot chocolate, Handcart Quilts, Chaney Gallery, Sweetwater Brooms & Such, Mary’s Emporium and the Antiquarium Bookstore among others.
